The Symbol Spectrum24 High Rate 4131 Access Point provides a secure Wi-Fi certified 802.11b wireless connection. The access point supports roaming and up to 127 mobile clients. The Symbol 4131 Access Point is a key component for a reliable and robust wireless network.

This access point supports both 40 and 128 bit WEP encryption, KeyGuard, Symbol's TKIP encryption implementation based on the forthcoming 802.11i standard; Kerberos V5 based mobile security; EAP/TLS with 802.1X port-based Network Access Control; RADIUS; or a combination of these choices.

The 4131 kit includes Power over Ethernet power supply, 2 rubber-ducky antennas and access point. Data Net recommends a site survey before attempting the installation of any wireless access point.
